Brown: My daughter is an ‘Idol’

Senator-elect Scott Brown has said he wants his daughter Ayla to get another shot at “American Idol,” a show she was a part of in 2006.

Scott told ABC’s “This Week” that his 21-year-old daughter, Ayla Brown, was just learning the trade when she was on the program, during which she received some harsh criticism from judge Simon Cowell. He said she never even put on makeup before gaining a spot among the show’s final 16 singers.
